FAQs: Definitions of terms, shipping info, and custom orders:
The original painting is scanned yielding a high resolution digital image which is printed onto smooth matte print paper or archival quality cotton canvas with archival quality inks.
The canvas is stretched over and stapled to wood stretcher bars on the back.
The canvas is not stretched over wood stretcher bars and is shipped rolled in a tube. You take it to a professional at a frame shop to have it framed.
The canvas is stretched and wrapped around stretcher bars, then stapled to the back of the stretcher bars so the sides of the canvas are unmarred. These can be hung without a frame or you can have it framed. The side depth will range from 1 1/4" to 1 1/2". The image itself wraps around the frame and is visible along the sides.
All mats are white and acid-free and will not yellow, burn, or affect the print/original. Acid-free mats are time-tested and archival quality (they're what museums use).
Attaching the artwork to a base material (the mat) so it "floats" over the base and the edges of the art are visible.
